China Glaze - Texture collection. Summer 2013

8-10-2013, 07:31. : vico

China Glaze Texture summer collection consists of six nail lacquers with hardeners, but no shimmer and tinsel.

I applied nail lacquers in two thin layers on all the pictures attached here. They get dry equally fast it takes about 10-12 minutes to dry them completely and have practically identical texture and number of hardeners. I tried to take breaks for three-four minutes between the layers application for making a texture show itself on the pictures.

Unrefined

This is a whitish pastel pink nail lacquer. It gets applied equally to the majority of other nail lacquers with a large amount of white. It can give some roughness, but due to its texture it becomes almost invisible after the second layer gets applied and dry.

This is a classic, a bit subdued fuchsia in some unusual sand variation. And this is the only one nail lacquer in the collection, which can be used just in one layer. But then there will be significantly less hardeners than it is shown on the picture.

This is an extremely bright orange nail lacquer with hardeners. It looks like velvet after it gets dry on the nails.

In The Rough

Its a whitish lime with a drop of grey shade which is noticeable in the bottle but is absolutely invisible on the nails.

Of Coarse

Its a deep blue color with hardeners texture which makes its bright shade a bit softer.

When I was thinking what nail lacquer color I had to show separately, I decided this would be a two-color manicure. But I had to choose between the two pairs: blue and orange or pink and lime. I preferred a gentler version because its hardeners texture with no tinsel reminded me suddenly of cakes and brownies sugar decoration. I was pleasantly surprised by the resistance of those nail lacquers with hardeners. The three-day use didnt smooth the texture and rub the nail tips. Its enough to keep a cotton pad close to the nail for several seconds only to remove easily the nail lacquer from it.
